The electoral officer failed to comply with subsection 74(2) of the Indian Act in failing to hold an election for three councillor positions.
The Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development is satisfied that this non-compliance constituted a violation of the Indian Act that might have affected the result of the election for the positions of councillor.
