                        Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to section 13 of An Act to amend the Motor Vehicle Transport Act, 1987 and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, assented to on June 14, 2001, being chapter 13 of the Statutes of Canada, 2001, hereby fixes January 1, 2006 as the day on which that Act comes into force.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu de l’article 13 de la Loi modifiant la Loi de 1987 sur les transports routiers et d’autres lois en conséquence, sanctionnée le 14 juin 2001, chapitre 13 des Lois du Canada (2001), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 1^er janvier 2006 la date d’entrée en vigueur de cette loi.
