                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to Order in Council P.C. 1999-161 of February 4, 1999, hereby appoints

Gilbert Barrette of La Sarre, Quebec, to be a member of the National Advisory Council on Aging, to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years.
