                   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to subsection 340(1) of the Modernization of Benefits and Obligations Act, assented to on June 29, 2000, being chapter 12 of the Statutes of Canada, 2000, hereby fixes April 7, 2005 as the day on which section 44.2 of the Judges Act, as enacted by section 163 of the Modernization of Benefits and Obligations Act and amended by section 24 of An Act to amend the Judges Act and to amend another Act in consequence, being chapter 7 of the Statutes of Canada, 2001, comes into force.

                   Sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu du paragraphe 340(1) de la Loi sur la modernisation de certains régimes d'avantages et d'obligations, sanctionnée le 29 juin 2000, chapitre 12 des Lois du Canada (2000), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 7 avril 2005 la date d'entrée en vigueur de l'article 44.2 de la Loi sur les juges, édicté par l'article 163 de la Loi sur la modernisation de certains régimes d'avantages et d'obligations et modifié par l'article 24 de la Loi modifiant la Loi sur les juges et une autre loi en conséquence, chapitre 7 des Lois du Canada (2001).
