Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport:

(a) pursuant to sections 3 and 11 of the Pilotage Act, approves the reappointment by the Minister of Transport of Julius B. Spivack of Hampstead, Quebec, as a member of the Laurentian Pilotage Authority, to hold office during pleasure for a term of four years;

(b) pursuant to section 10 of the Pilotage Act, appoints Julius B. Spivack, to be part-time Vice-Chairperson of the Laurentian Pilotage Authority; and

(c) pursuant to section 14 of the Pilotage Act, fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is comprised of a per diem within the range ($220 - $260) and an annual retainer within the range ($4,300 - $5,700).

Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu des articles 3 et 11 de la Loi sur le pilotage, approuve le renouvellement du mandat par le ministre des Transports de Julius B. Spivack, d’Hampstead (Québec), membre de l’Administration de pilotage des Laurentides, à titre amovible pour une période de quatre ans;

b) en vertu de l’article 10 de la Loi sur le pilotage, nomme Julius B. Spivack, vice-président du conseil à temps partiel de l’Administration de pilotage des Laurentides;

c) en vertu de l’article 14 de la Loi sur le pilotage, fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, laquelle rémunération est composée d’un taux journalier dans l’échelle (220 $ – 260 $) et des honoraires annuels dans l’échelle (4 300 $ – 5 700 $).
